AVG is the best.

But it is not free. A free version is available which lacks some features.
I suggest you download the best version of Zone Alarm. It isnt free but it comes with a free trial. You can also just get a serial to unlock it for free off the internet. But i suggest you don't download it and to buy Norton. Taking the precaution of buying Norton (or McAfee) is the best way to go because you can never be to safe. Your question actually makes me frustrated and a bit angry.

AVG Free its Free for a year and then you can redownload it next year still free its done better than norton antivirus for me.

AVG is one of the best and it is free for personal use. Highly rated by experts and is very regular with updates. That is very important.
