Where can i find a working antivirus protection program?

i have a few problems cause my brother play maplestory and lately after downloading the patch .39 it says a message saying something about either ur not online or something and then it says go to website for more info?

and later when my brother plays GunZ and the game is about to start a pop up comes up and it says that there a virus program about to start and it says to stop it click yes and he did and now he cant play ms

does anyone know aboout this dilema?
