Please use either the Microsoft Windows defrag., or if you have a purchased defrag. You need to defrag your registry plus your HDD. Plus you may need to purchase an additonal memory chip as your RAM/Memory may be to low for the software programs that you have installed.

Use Ctrl,Alt,Delete (keyboard), to open your task manager and see what processes are using up your memory. Perhaps you can remove one of the program with add/remove that is eating up your memory.

TuneUp Utilities 2008 is pure junk from Germany. Will do nothing to speed up your PC.

Just because you have antivirus and antispyware protection on your computer, it will not run any faster. USING these to clean up the computer will certainly make it run better. As to faster, the first thing to check is how much RAM your computer has and if it needs to be increased. If the computer is slow, that's the first thing to look for. Run a check with crucial to establish that, then go on to clean up the hard drive.
